Rank Heroes Against Comp, Not in Isolation

A hero’s tier ranking assumes an average enemy composition — against a specific counter-pick, even an S-tier hero can be shut down hard. Check what the enemy locked before committing your final pick, not just what the tier list says is strongest overall.

Support and Tank Rankings Move Faster Than DPS

With only one tank and up to two supports per team, small numbers changes to those roles swing win rates harder than similar changes to the much larger DPS pool. Keep a closer eye on support/tank patch notes specifically if you play those roles.
