Fortnite Best Landing Spots: Where to Drop for Loot and Survival
Where you land in Fortnite decides more of your match than almost any other single choice — a contested named location can end your game in the first thirty seconds, while a quieter spot gives you time to actually loot up.
Weigh Loot Density Against Contest Risk
The biggest named locations usually have the best loot but also draw the most squads. Landing on the edge of a big POI, or at a smaller unnamed cluster of buildings nearby, often nets decent loot with far less early risk than dropping dead center.
Plan Your Rotation Before You Land
Check the bus path and rough circle direction before you jump, and pick a landing spot that sets up a natural rotation toward the zone rather than one that forces a long, exposed run later in the match.
