Call of Duty: Warzone Win Guide: Landing, Looting, and Gulag Tips
Warzone wins come from surviving the middle of the match, not the first firefight — most squads that die early made a loud, avoidable mistake in the opening minutes.
Land quiet, loot fast, move on
Contested drop spots cost squads more games than bad gunfights do. Landing somewhere with fewer squads, grabbing a self-revive and a decent primary, and rotating early gives you more map control than fighting for a hot-drop area ever does.
Treat the Gulag as a coin flip you can improve
You can’t control your Gulag weapon, but you can control your positioning — holding an angle instead of pushing blind wins more 1v1s than aggression does. A won Gulag is worth more than any early-game fight you could’ve avoided instead.
If wins keep slipping away in the final circles, squadding with a booster (or letting one play your account solo) can turn near-misses into actual wins.
